This is a very nice and interesting wedding video you don’t see everyday. Usually, wedding videos are in color, regular speed, and with upbeat music. For example, everyone knows Stillmotion is like the masters of all masters when it comes to this. It really does take some serious skills (and gear) to shoot like them, which is somewhat of a downer when you know it’ll be quite some time before you are at that level. Instead, Lee Morris from FStoppers decided to go on a completely different approach. He shot the entire wedding in black and white, slow speed, and soothing music. Lee’s goal in making this video is from a photographer’s standpoint. The idea is that you could pause this video at any moment and you’ll have a solid image. I think his idea was genius, and it worked out very well. Check it out.
