Everybody needs a hobby, including artist Miguel Endara, even if it involves a drawing a portrait composed entirely out of 3.2 million ink dots. Time spent: 210 hours. I’m completely blown away by the amount of work and time that were put into this, not to mention the “making of”. How does he know it was 3.2 million dots? He doesn’t. It’s not an exact number, but it’s very close. Miguel multiplied the speed of plotting (how many dots he put down per 10 seconds) with the number of hours he worked on each section.
Oh, make sure to check out his website. It’s one of the most interesting websites I’ve been to, even though it’s flash.
