Phew, it’s been almost 3 weeks ever since I had a photoshoot with the ladies from Miss Vietnam Sacramento, and now I just got done with editing the pictures. After that weekend, I went to New York for a mini vacation, came back with a ton of time-lapse photos to edit. Then, the weekend after that was Sacramento Fashion Week shoot, which I needed to edit the photos right away. I tried to edit some of these photos last night, but my eyes were twitching after the first photo, I had to call it a night.
Since I was loaded up with Peter Hurley and his tips for headshots, I practically did this photoshoot for only headshots. It’s so more more fun to shoot and edit the pictures. There’s no distraction from the surrounding elements; it’s just you and the model on location, and then you, Lightroom and Photoshop in post. You start seeing a lot of things you normally wouldn’t with regular portraits
I think I’m hooked. I’m hooked on headshots, and I’m hooked on Photoshop. I also think I need a Wacom tablet really soon. The healing tools can get very tiring and tricky with a mouse.
Here are the pictures.
