Back in August 2011, I posted 2 macro time-lapse videos that were shot by photographer Kim Pimmel. It looks like Kim has been at it again, and has just released another installment of his “Compressed” series. Everything in the video was show with physical materials and tools in his studio. By using frame by frame stop-motion and time-lapse techniques, fluid dynamics and magnetism are transformed into majestic explosions and seething storms.
If you want to have a nice trip, make sure to watch the video in HD, full-screen and with headphones on.
