In this video, photographer and director Amber Gray shows how the Para FB has enhanced her workflow in terms of post production and retouching; the Para’s flattering light is perfect for beauty and fashion. She practically said if you stick one of these bad boys behind you and in front of your talents, you would spend less time retouching. Now, I don’t have any personal experience working with one of these, but saying that a ten-thousand-dollar umbrella will make your photographs look better is a bit out there.
Amber Gray’s work is gorgeous, no doubt about that… but to say that this would be the only thing you’d bring to a deserted island? Sure, you can totally make a boat out of this thing.
For what it’s worth, you might be able to do away with an Einstein E640 and one of these PLM systems.
