Freeway light streaks

I’m a strong believer that everyone who’s a photographer has a “photo bucket list”. It’s a list of shots you want to take before you, well, kick the bucket. The list can include anything from water droplets on a rose to a lone tree in the field, or a sexy lingerie model in bedroom. This is one of the items on my list: pictures of the freeway, shot from an overpass.

So today, I decided to stop and take some pictures by an overpass that I’d spotted out for a while. It’s one the few ones that don’t have the fence nor too much street light. Unfortunately, it’s also a dangerous one; the street was completely dark, and traffic was literally 2-3 feet behind me. Scary. I’m guessing this one “bucket list” item lives up to its name. I could have died out there while trying to cross out an item on my list. I may be exaggerating this a little bit. Only a tiny bit.

Here’s the EXIF info of these shots:
ISO 200
15s @f/8.0
All shot with a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.0 OS HSM at various focal length.

I hope you guys enjoy these. In the meantime, I’ll go work on getting a sexy model in a bedroom……

By the way, has anyone noticed something weird about one of the pictures below?
