Tips on How to Talk to TSAs and Fly with Your Camera Gear by Jared Polin FroKnowsPhoto

Being a photographer, I’m sure most of you have traveled with your gear loaded in the bag, either for a carry-on or for check-in. I personally carry my gear with me onto the plane, as I don’t trust those airline workers. I’ve seen them throw your luggages around as if they’re basketballs. No, I’ll handle my own gear, thank you very much. I also have big problems with authority, so keeping my cool with the TSAs seems to be a challenge at times. Nowadays, you either get full-body massage groped, or get scanned naked. I’ve traveled enough to have seen all the good ones as well as the bad ones. For some of you who don’t travel that often, especially with your gear, this video might be helpful for you.

Oh, for the record, I refuse to go through the scanner.
