Photography is painting with light. If you want to become good with your photography, you must understand how light works with your LCD (liquid crystal display) and CCD (charge-coupled device). Since I have a background in computer science and engineering, and I’m a geek and a nerd at heart, I have no problem understand the concept of light. Be that as it may, what they teach you in school can never be applied to anything in the real world. These videos do an excellent job at explaining how the sensor inside your camera(s) work, and how images are displayed on your monitor(s). Don’t worry, Bill Hammack “The Engineer Guy” did not throw out any technical jargon, so you won’t have any trouble grasping the idea.
