Stop-motion Mario by MysteryGuitarMan

This is one of the craziest stop-motion videos I’ve seen. Joe Penna, also known as MysteryGuitarMan, put together his toughest video of Mario in the very first world, 1-1. The whole video was done with exactly 300 still frames, and were shot in front of a template that’s about 15 feet. MysteryGuitarMan uses a special software to translate from how many pixels each frame are apart to how many inches they are in real life. It looks to me that he uses a Stage Zero to move the camera along the crane.

Be sure to check out the making of video below as well.
