My blog was running a little bit slow in the past few days on both the frontend and the backend. I wanted to make sure there wasn’t any problem on their end, so I visited their Dreamhost Status blog, and to my surprise, I saw this entry that was posted by a person named Brian on 7/19. As of 7/12, I’m not sure if the problem still persists, but it looks like Brian wasn’t too happy about it. I can’t tell if it’s the same Brian who posted in the comment section or some imposter who just wanted to stir things up, but here are some of the things he said:

Wondering, shit man, stop to waste dreamhost resources, and fuck you now!

I am real Brian H, senior support manager here at DreamHost. You are fake! We have no time to waste with all these useless complaints, made ??by incompetent users. We have much more important to do than waste time with you beginners.
Update: it turns out the Brian who posted the comments is in fact an imposter.

@Ricardo: I work for Dreamhost and can confirm Brian H is a support manager here at Dreamhost, however, this is not Brian H writing in the comments. I have deleted the spammer comments and can assure you no one working at Dreamhost would write these things. The spammer using Brian’s name was using a fake email address that is not a support address or a valid Dreamhost address. If you have any questions or concerns about our service or site, please write into support from the panel. I have disabled the comments on this post for the time being.
