This video below goes to show that good photographs are not always taken using expensive equipment. Zack Arias took a challenge from DigitalRev to shoot street people in Hong Kong. The kicker is: he was only given a Kodak point-and-shoot camera that was having sync problems with a Nikon flash. Unsurprisingly, Zack ended up with a very strong set of photos. It’s always interesting and mesmerizing to see street people’s reactions and expressions. All you need to capture these moments is not some fancy camera, but the ability to approach and communicate with people.
