I stumbled upon these great time-lapse videos by Josh “Mindrelic” Owens today, so I thought I’d share them with you.
First video was created by a short collection of some of his favorite shots from New York City. I’m very impressed at how steady he is with the camera. This isn’t one of those usual time-lapse videos when the camera is stationary. He actually moved the camera as he took the pictures. Check it out:
Canon 5D MKII, 14mm 2.8L, 24mm 1.4L, 50mm 1.2L, 70-200 2.8L
Second video was shot over five days in various locations in eastern California including Death valley, Owens valley, Bristlecone forest, and Mono lake during the week of October 18th, 2010.
Canon 5D MKII, 16-35L 2.8
Camera movement achieved using the six foot single rail dolly system from the guys at dynamicperception.com.
