What would you do when you want to take snowboarding pictures and there’s no snow? You bring the snow to you. What if you want to take pictures of snowboarding incorporating with water and there’s no water pond? You create a pond! But a pond isn’t a pond until you see fish. And what if there’s no fish in the artificial pond you just created? You bring some trouts from a lake to the pond. Crazy idea? Yes, definitely.
When I started watching this video by Scott Serfas, I thought to myself, “There’s no way in hell that his plan is going to work!”. Scott Serfas was born in the suburbs of Vancouver where nothing separated him from the North Pole but a stained wooden fence and crushed rock. At age sixteen, he was abducted from high school by an unsuspecting church organization and forced to ski moguls and perform daffy’s off lemmings leap under the 7th heaven chairlift–the original stimulus for Scott’s interest in air time photography.
